Resa

I'd like to take a few moments to introduce and thank a young lady for her assistance. Resa has been coming out to help/learn with the horses and lessons for about 6 months. Having her come out and brush, comb, lead and talk to the kids has been a tremendous help. (I thought I had a good picture of her, but I can't find a good one, I'll add one as soon as I can.)

New house, moving

Well, our new house is almost finished. Now I've got to get the arena, barn, etc. ready for the horses. The price of sand, railroad ties, and electric fence rope are some of the things I need to get ready. Thankfully, I'm trading services with another trainer and am getting a round pen, saddle racks, and many other things that I'm sure I'll realize I didn't know I had to have. Oh the many things that go into owning horses! BUT I, wouldn't trade any of it for all the world.

Pumpkin

Well, she's better, in fact she now has the barn goddess attitude! Today she was able to go out to the front pasture and started trotting and bucking!! It was so funny, seeing her little fat, pudgy butt running around the pasture!!She was showing all of her "barn goddess-ness!"

BR-r-r-r- It's cold!

I know , I know it may not be or seem as cold where you are but here in the hill country it sure feels cold. We didn't have any snow last night, but the majority of my lessons were cancelled for today. I hope it warms up this afternoon.
